Shipping policy

1. Introduction

At CoMed, we connect healthcare professionals and centers with licensed vendors offering medical supplies and services. Each vendor is responsible for managing their own shipping process. This Shipping Policy outlines how shipping is handled through CoMed and sets expectations regarding shipping times, fees, and responsibilities.

2. Vendor Responsibility

  • CoMed is an intermediary platform, and shipping policies are determined and managed by the individual vendors.
  • Vendors are responsible for fulfilling and shipping orders, including determining the shipping method, fees, and delivery times.
  • CoMed does not directly handle shipping or logistics for products ordered through the platform.

3. Shipping Methods and Fees

Shipping methods and fees are determined by the vendor. The shipping fee will depend on the following factors:

  • Shipping Location: Shipping costs vary based on the delivery address.
  • Product Size/Weight: The weight and size of the product will affect the shipping fee.
  • Shipping Speed: Standard shipping, expedited shipping, and other options may be available depending on the vendor.
  • Vendor’s Policy: Each vendor may set their own shipping rates and methods based on their resources.

4. Shipping Time

  • Processing Time: Each vendor has a specific order processing time. Typically, orders are processed within 1-3 business days after payment is confirmed.
  • Delivery Time: Delivery times vary based on the shipping method, product availability, and the destination. Most orders are delivered within 5-7 business days, but this can vary.
  • Delays: Shipping delays may occur due to factors such as weather, holidays, or other unforeseen events. CoMed and the vendor will notify you of any significant delays.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, the vendor will provide a tracking number, if available. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment through the courier’s website.

6. Shipping Restrictions

  • International Shipping: Some vendors may offer international shipping, while others may only ship domestically. The available shipping regions will depend on the vendor's policies.
  • Restricted Items: Certain medical products may have shipping restrictions based on legal or safety regulations. These items may not be eligible for shipping to certain locations.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged, please contact the vendor immediately via CoMed to initiate a return or replacement. You may be asked to provide photos of the damaged items.
  • Lost Shipments: If the shipment is lost, please contact the vendor to start a claim process. Vendors are responsible for ensuring your product is delivered.

8. Shipping Address

  • Correct Address: Ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate and complete. CoMed and the vendor are not responsible for delays or issues arising from incorrect addresses.
  • Address Changes: If you need to change the shipping address, please contact the vendor immediately after placing the order, but before the order is shipped.

9. Additional Charges

  • Import Taxes and Duties: If your order is shipped internationally, you may be responsible for customs duties or taxes. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in the shipping fees. Please check with your local customs office for more details.
  • Return Shipping Fees: If you need to return a product, return shipping fees may apply. These fees are determined by the vendor’s return policy.

10. Contact Information
